Here is a list of theme ideas that can easily be done at a Bridal Shower...
If the bride-to-be either loves to cook or hates to cook, throw her a KITCHEN shower. Have all the games based around cooking. Include in the invitation a request for recipes and a spice that can be used in the recipe you bring.
Throw a CLOSET shower. On your invitation, assign each guest a different closet in the house and have them buy gifts that would typically be stored in that closet. For instance, the bedroom closet might need hangers, shoe racks, and a tie hook. The pantry is easy to figure out. The hall closet might need a vacuum. The linen closet needs sheets, towels, etc.
AROUND THE CLOCK is another bridal shower idea. Assign the guests a different hour of the day. Be sure to specify AM or PM and have them bring a gift of something that might typically be used during that hour of the day. This is not only a great way to get a variety of gifts for the bride-to-be, but also makes for great conversation.
Do you have a great story about playing a game listed on this site? Are there variations of the game you would like to share? Tell us!
We only played the Christmas ABC game tonight, but it was fun and funny! I have 3 more games and quizzes that I will take to my parents' house on Saturday. Thanks again!!
