Candy Corn Catch
Summary: Candy Corn Catch is a game where you see who can throw the most candy corns into a pumpkin.
Ages: From 6 to Adult
Recommended Number of Players:
Between 8 and 30, with at least two teams and 3 to 4 players per team
Equipment:
One plastic pumpkin with a handle for each team
One bag of candy corn per team
A belt or rope for each team
Set Up:
Use the rope or belt to secure the pumpkin around the waist of one player per team.
How to Play:
Have the team member who is wearing the pumpkin stand about 7 to 10 feet away from the players who will be throwing the candy corn. The player wearing the pumpkin may move around to try and catch the candy corn as it is thrown without using their hands to deflect the candy corn in any way.
Winner:
Once everyone has thrown the candy corn, take the pumpkin and count how many went in so a winner can be picked. This is determined on how many candy corns are in the pumpkin.
Variation:
At a Thanksgiving party, use large corn kernals, the kind used in bird feeders, or even popcorn if you have older children playing.
