Are you the one in charge of planning the office Christmas party games? Then you have come to the right spot.
If you have a small office, then you will probably have a smaller budget. Let me offer some tips. Start by getting everyones input as to the type party they would like to have. If you didn't attend last years party, talk to someone who did and find out what you want to keep and you can do away with this year. That way you have less chance of dissappointing the team.
It also a good idea to ask co-workers to bring a dish from home to share. Not only do you get good home cooked food, but it also free's up the budget for decorations, gifts and prizes for the games. If you don't want a full meal, why not rent a chocolate fountain and have everyone bring their favorite thing to dip. Or assign each person an ingredient for a make-your-own sundae bar.
Going to a "dollar store" with stretch the budget even farther. You can get some great bargains there. What you don't find, you can supplement with products from your local party supply store.
If you plan on having gifts at the party, try using one of the gift exchange games to make the event more merry.
After organizing this years party, be prepared to do it again next year because your friends will still be raving about what a great job you did!
Do you have a great story about playing a game listed on this site? Are there variations of the game you would like to share? Tell us!
We only played the Christmas ABC game tonight, but it was fun and funny! I have 3 more games and quizzes that I will take to my parents' house on Saturday. Thanks again!!
